Charles Chikhani Innovation Award

The Charles Chikhani Innovation Award that aims at rewarding Lebanese firms who have presented innovative products or services within the Lebanese market or abroad was launched on November 27th, 2008. Reflecting Charles spirit and mind, the prize was initiated by the Charles Chikhani Foundation in partnership with CERAM Alumni Club Lebanon.

The jury of the Charles Chikhani Innovation Prize met on Friday 20th of February to select the winners of the different categories and the winner of the Grand Prix.
The jury recognized products and services that demonstrate real innovation and reflect the Lebanese creative capabilities.

The final results were revealed during a gala diner that was held on Wednesday 25th of March 2009 at the Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel.

Six companies in six different categories were rewarded during the evening. Winners received the Charles Chikhani Innovation Award trophy and the winner of the Grand Prix a cheque of $5,000 offered by the Charles Chikhani Foundation.

The results of the 2008 edition are the following:
- Innovation and Technology category and Grand Prix: the 3D
3030 photo kit by Mission 3D
- Innovation and IT category: Qadmos software
- Innovation and Telecom category: Mobi from Mobile Technology Tomorrow (MT2)
- Innovation and Industry: 3WF fence by Century Fence
- Innovation and Food category: Innocent by Al Rifai
- Innovation and Society: Lebanon Mountain Trail by Ecodit
